Drycleaning Process

The GreenEarth drycleaning process is very similar to the way you currently process your garments. The process uses a certified Class IIIA machine and, because the solution is not a VOC and has very low vapor pressure, you may use a transfer system between a washer and a reclaimer if that makes sense for you. The overall dry-to-dry time in a dry-to-dry machine is similar to that in a hydrocarbon machine.

Because there is no need to classify loads, there are considerable savings at the end of the day. Our experience is that the number of loads run in production is reduced by 10 to 30 percent, depending upon your current type of production, the size of your equipment, and the current load classifications you are running. However, if you look at your production chart, all short loads you run should be drastically reduced. Obviously, that reduction also reduces labor and energy.

There are other obvious savings when you eliminate the challenges we face with a "hazardous" solvent. Regulatory compliance, disposal of waste, employee relations, landlord-friendly locations, storage costs, Superfund charges, remediation expenses, and so forth, all get knocked down to size with the GreenEarth Cleaning System. The process really "is good for everybody"!
